Trade Controls & Reconciliation Analyst | Bank | Contract

Job Responsibilities

• Validate and reconcile approved trade conditions between credit applications, approval documentation and relevant trade systems
• Identify, investigate and escalate discrepancies, missing information, or unapproved changes in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records of reconciliation outcomes, exceptions, actions taken and supporting evidence
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders to resolve data or process exceptions
• Prepare MIS and exceptions reporting for management updates  
• Support periodic reviews of control effectiveness and identifying recurring issues, root causes and opportunities to improve reconciliation processes and risk controls
• Deliver work competently within given timelines and escalate concerns or blockers promptly
• Support other business tasks and controls if required

Job Requirements

• Degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
• With 3 years of experience in trade finance, risk management, controls or data reconciliation is advantageous
• Attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies across multiple sources
• Good organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage recurring tasks and exceptions effectively
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases and transaction or workflow systems.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders across multiple teams
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance or escalate concerns
